Looking for something fun to do on Friday nights during the summer?! We encourage you to take the kids to the neighboring town of Hampton, GA and enjoy the summer nights at the Atlanta Motor Speedway!

O’Reilly Auto Parts sponsors the race. It’s a street-style drag racing event that brings lots of fun for everyone who attends!

It is a great way to spend a summer evening with the family. Don’t miss out on the action!

The kids will LOVE it and you will too! If you are interested in actually racing, here are some details for future Friday night races.

The race features grassroots competitions in 18 different divisions. Competing vehicles range from supercharged cars to stock vehicles and daily drivers. Contenders battle in a nightly, single-elimination tournament for trophies, bragging rights, and season championship points.

Race Details:

• Entry Fee: $20 to participate.
• Safety: Vehicles must have a working seat belt, and drivers must wear a DOT-approved helmet.
• Show-N-Shine: A $20 open competition for cars, trucks, and motorcycles, including a Track Cruise around the 1.54-mile surface.
• Combo Ticket: $30 to compete in both Show-N-Shine and drag racing.

Spectator Information:

• Admission: $8 (Children 5 and under are free).
• Parking: Exterior parking is free; infield parking is $20.
• Schedule: Pits open at 6 p.m., grandstands at 6:30 p.m., and eliminations begin at 9:09 p.m.

A fun time is guaranteed for all! Make sure to bring earmuffs for the kids and yourselves, just in case the noise is too much to handle. Safety first!!
